Sealing treatment on new hydraulic mosaic tiles.

Hydraulic tile consists of three layers of pressed cement. The cement is given its glossy surface with a mixture of quicklime and silica of different grains.
Using moulds and dividers, the surface is coloured with mineral materials made from iron that has been oxidized to different degrees and which gives the tile the ornamental motifs similar to carpets, tapestries, etc.
