As time
goes by, floor tiles start to show a corrugated, lacklustre
appearance, which can lessen the value of the house.
At
Pulidos Barcino, we have developed a mechanized polishing
technique using abrasives to revitalize the original colours
and warm tones of mosaic floors. |
Their originality of design and natural durability has helped maintain
both hydraulic
and Nolla tiles as an
architectural reference to the Mediterranean culture.
In
our workshop, we have
the official catalogues of original tile makers, dating from the
beginning of the 20th century. Some of these artisans are already
in their third generation of producing tiles, and we collaborate
with them closely.
