In the year 1911, have been able to contabilizar 220 factories of baldosas, disseminated by all Spain. The geographic distribution of the factories is extremely interesting. The main number of them situates in the half south and east of Spain, specifically south of the line that would cross Barcelona, Madrid and Cáceres.
The Spanish provinces-Leonese de León, Zamora, Salamanca, Ávila, Segovia, Palencia, Boroughs and Soria did not have any factory, as well as the ones of Cuenca and Guadalajara in Castile-La Mancha.
