Pulir Roman mosaic

The history of the mosaic has some three thousand years if we consider like precedent the pavings of pebbles, with which our ancestors looked for a better firm for his houses or the streets of his populated, asi facilitated the walk of people and animal and achieved a main comfort.

These pebbles of the paving that initially had to have a practical end, by pure aesthetic pleasure of the man, planted of determinate form. Initially following simple geometrical drawings, that afterwards would go complicating, winning tonalities, until ending up representing scenes of the real life of big decorative value.
 

A mosaic is a product of a society and therefore a reflection of the same, of his tastes, his habits, technological knowledges, economic situation, etc.
